An interactive webinar presentation on the Clean Energy Home was held on Tuesday, February 23, hosted by the Mendon and Upton libraries.
This was a chance for residents to learn the basics of green technologies, hear firsthand from locals who have the technologies and an opportunity to ask questions to experts in the field. The areas covered will include, Energy Efficiency, Solar PV, Solar Battery Storage, Electric Vehicles (EV), Solar Hot Water, and for heating and cooling, Air-Source Heat Pumps and Ground-Source Pumps. These tools are available now to Mendon/Upton residents with rebates, credits and discounts.
Videos from the event are posted here!

Vehicle electrification to lower greenhouse gas emissions will largely be driven by better batteries. Though the current technology is good enough for early-adopters, how will better tech move us towards an all-electric future as quickly as possible?
Join Green Energy Consumers Alliance for this hour-long webinar to learn:
Why batteries are crucial to transition from the internal combustion engine and reduce our dependence on gasoline.
How improved battery technology will make electric vehicles cheaper and encourage more drivers to switch.
What happens to batteries when their useful life in vehicles is over.
What to expect from battery tech if you drive or want to drive an electric car now.

Curious about getting an electric car, but not sure where to start? Join Drive Green for their popular Electric Vehicles 101 webinar to learn the basics! They'll cover environmental and consumer benefits, information about batteries and charging, state and federal incentives, and have plenty of time to answer all of your questions.
Women’s voices are underrepresented in the electric vehicle community. That's why, in May and June, Green Energy Consumers Alliance will be spotlighting women EV drivers!
This online event is a chance for women to tell you about their experiences buying or leasing EVs, what influenced them to go electric, and more.
Come hear their stories and join the conversation on Zoom. This event will be offered twice: 5/11 at noon and 6/8 at 7pm.

Electric cars offer many benefits, including a lower carbon footprint, smooth and quiet acceleration, and zero noxious tailpipe emissions, to name a few. Buying pre-owned allows you to enjoy the perks of going electric without the high upfront cost of a new car. In fact, buying a pre-owned electric car may be one of the most cost-effective ways to own any car!
Join us for this free webinar presented by Drive Green to learn why pre-owned electric cars are a great value, what kind of cars are available, and how to find the right car for you.

Join our partner Drive Green for this webinar on charging.
Making the switch to an electric car can be intimidating if you're used to refueling with gasoline. Where will you charge? How much will it cost? How can you make sure you're always charged up?
The good news is that charging an electric vehicle (EV) is easier than you might think once you know the basics. Join this hour-long webinar to learn everything you need to know about EV charging so that you feel ready and confident to make your next car electric. There will be plenty of time to ask questions.
